The price for an interpreter will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, language pair, type of interpreting, level of technical and/or industry-specific knowledge/experience required of the interpreter, certifications required of the interpreter, lead time given to us to schedule an interpreter for you, and location of the assignment.

Certain minimum fees will apply per assignment. Typically, in-person interpreting will be priced as either an hourly rate or a half-day/full-day rate, depending on the type of interpreting that is utilized. By learning the details and scope of your request, we will be able to best manage your costs.

Translation is typically priced per word, with a minimum fee per project. The price of translation will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, source and target language, the number of words to be translated, formatting, requested turnaround to meet your deadline, technical or industry-specific nature of the text to be translated, the need to work within design files or place translated text within any type of graphic, and whether we receive the text in fully editable format.

In order for us to best manage your costs with respect to translation, it is essential that we first have a chance to review all documents you would like translated in advance of offering you a price quote.

Transcription of audio, whether from an audio or video file, is typically priced as a per-audio-minute-rate. The price of a transcription project will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the total number of minutes to be transcribed, quality of the audio, requested turnaround to meet your deadline, and technical or industry-specific nature of the audio to be transcribed. Audio that will need to be transcribed and translated from one language to another will receive higher rates than audio that does not require translation.
